Hiraeth Energy is delighted to announce that we have successfully passed the requirements to become a B Corp ‘pending’. Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are companies verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
The ‘pending’ designation means that Hiraeth Energy is too recently established to benefit from ‘full’ accreditation. However we are on track to achieve the full standard in August this year.
B Corp is a global movement to transform the global economy to benefit all people, communities and the planet. There are now over 4,800 B Corps in 79 countries and covering 153 industries.
As a values-based organisation, aiming to improve sustainability, environment and local supply chains, we were keen to become part of a movement that so closely aligned with our values.
This certification means that our stakeholders can have confidence in our dedication to making Wales – and the world – a better place.
