Our development strategy is tightly aligned with all relevant national, regional and local policy, delivering on policy objectives at all levels of government. We commit to delivering meaningful community ownership; genuine community engagement and consultation; and to deliver projects that meet the needs of future generations. We anticipate building strong support within the general public for our approach, reducing development risk and increasing the likelihood of strong political support.
Wales, together with the rest of the world, faces both a climate and a nature emergency, and we intend to deliver not just affordable, low-carbon electricity to support a zero-carbon Wales, but to enhance habitat and biodiversity wherever possible.
